What are the differences between T/C, T/R, and CVC fabrics?

T/C fabric, which is polyester-cotton fabric, refers to a blend of polyester and cotton, with polyester making up more than 60% and cotton less than 40%. Polyester-cotton is a synthetic fabric that does not wick moisture easily. It has a prickly feel, is prone to static electricity, and appears shiny when viewed at an angle. Polyester-cotton highlights the characteristics of polyester while also benefiting from the strengths of cotton fabric. It has good elasticity and abrasion resistance in both dry and wet conditions, is dimensionally stable, has a low shrinkage rate, and features stiffness, wrinkle resistance, easy washing, and quick drying properties.
T/R fabric, which is a polyester-rayon blended fabric, is a highly complementary blend. T/R not only has cotton-like and wool-like textures but also includes medium and long types. When the polyester content is not less than 50%, this blend can maintain the firmness, wrinkle resistance, and dimensional stability of polyester, along with strong washability and wearability. The inclusion of rayon fibers improves the fabric's breathability, enhances its resistance to melting holes, and reduces pilling and static electricity. It features high strength, good elasticity, good water absorption, abrasion resistance, light resistance, and corrosion resistance.
CVC fabric is a fabric that contains only polyester and cotton, with the cotton content being 50% or higher. It has good abrasion resistance and wrinkle resistance, but because the polyester fibers are hydrophobic, they have a strong affinity for oil stains, making it easy to absorb oil and prone to static electricity, which attracts dust and makes it difficult to wash. The advantage is that the finished product is not easily deformed, especially in machine washing conditions.
